(Volume up) SAVE THIS VIDEO & SHARE. Using the progressive overload principle is the intelligent way of how we get stronger AND build muscles. Simply put, in order to do that you MUST continually make your muscles work harder than they’re used to. Most often, that means increasing the resistance or the reps and there are other methods to increasing the overload. You need structure for this to happen. Program design is my FAVORITE thing to do! There is an art to it but it doesn’t need to be overly complicated. We can apply that same principle with resistance bands NOT just barbells and dumbbells. No need to go panic buy a whole gym setup, dumbbells , or kettlebells for that matter. Just bands! You wont lose your gains! WAY cheaper and it’s more portable! I have not seen a single strength coach post about this on social media and how effective it can be for home workouts. Buy a pack of resistance bands on Amazon along with a door anchor attachment. Get ready to get strong as fuck on Monday! .
