Bent Over Row

Look, everyone is posting their random workout of the day which i bet is entirely overwhelming for you because you want to learn to actually train? (Home workout program almost complete, link in bio) I know, I totally get it. You can go break a sweat using broom sticks, toilet paper rolls, lifting luggages, juggling your soup cans etc, you gonna get tired of that. Looks good for IG though. But for the ones who want purpose and want to do that by building or maintaining strength....well lets take a look at home exercises at a different angle and see how they can mimic exercises at the gym when we dont have access (majority of us atm). Why dont we actually learn about how home workout/exercises can be effective when we dont have gym access? .
.
For example, the bent over barbell row is an excellent exercise to build up your back muscles. Look at the gym version and how we can closely mimic that with the band version when we dont have access to weights. We can make this exercise more difficult in load by shortening the band or by wrapping it around our foot and balling it up underneath our feet. That too easy? Move up to a different band. I always highly recommend clients to have a band set up at home and for travel because its ‘easier’ to increase the difficulty. Also, just doesnt take up space. Other weights are bonuses as you can combine a weight with the band. Questions about home workouts and how we can trade common strength and muscle building exercises from home to the gym? Holla!
